Happy New Year! On behalf of our team at US Digital Designs, we’re very excited about the upcoming fire conference and tradeshow season.

And, as it happens, we’re just putting the finishing touches on our own exhibition and attendance plans.

If you’re like us, it’s nice to have one go-to place that documents that must-attend fire conferences and events. For us, they include the events we’ve listed herein.

3/1 – 3/4, San Diego, CA

The California National Emergency Number Association’s (CALNENA) mission is to foster a reliable and continuously improved emergency telephone number network through research, planning, training, and education. The organization represents its members before communications regulatory agencies and policy-making bodies; and strives toward citizens having immediate access to emergency public safety services so that safety of human life, protection of property and civic welfare are benefited to the utmost degree.

3/17 – 3/20, Las Vegas, NV

CentralSquare 2020 is the premier educational and networking event for more than 7,500 CentralSquare customers. It promises to be the must-attend event for public sector agencies across North America.

4/5 – 4/9, Plano, TX

The International Public Safety Consortium 2020 is better known as the International CAD Consortium (ICC). Among the scores of topics to be discussed at the event are computer-aided dispatch, mapping/GIS, station alerting and a host of other relevant safety topics.

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) is an international leader in providing complete public safety communications expertise, professional development, technical assistance, advocacy, and outreach to benefit its members and the public. 5/12 – 5/14, Rosemont, IL

The Firehouse Station Design Conference (FSDC) is a three-day event covering the latest in station design innovations, technology and healthy concepts. Attendees include fire and police officials, officers, city managers and architects, all of whom gather together to share insights, new ideas and best practices in effective and efficient station design.

6/5 - 6/10, Pittsburgh, PA

The Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association (MFCA) is an annual event that provides fire and safety administrators an ideal opportunity to network, renew contacts and friendships, and discuss ideas and trends in all aspects of the fire service with members from across the globe.

6/25 – 6/27, Worcester, MA

Since 1923, the New England Association of Fire Chiefs (NEAFC) has met annually in a three-day professional development program that brings together regional fire officials from all the New England states to share and discuss issues relevant to fire safety, prevention and related technology.

7/13 – 7/15, Albuquerque, NM

The two-day conference offers meaningful discussions between fire industry suppliers and Fire Chiefs. It’s two days of learning, networking and relationship building in a unique and innovative way. In just 48 hours, experience a custom agenda of interactive, user-generated meetings with other chiefs and the suppliers you rely on.

8/2-8/5, Orlando, FL

The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) is hosting APCO 2020, APCO International’s Annual Conference & Expo. It happens to be the premier event for public safety communications officials, from frontline telecommunicators to comm center managers to public safety communications equipment and services vendors. Starting August 2, the conference offers four days of educational sessions, committee meetings and special events, paired with two full days of exhibits.

8/19 – 8/22, Phoenix, AZ

The International Association of Fire Chiefs sponsors Fire-Rescue International (FRI), the annual conference and expo of the IAFC. The organization has provided senior-level leadership training to fire chiefs for 140 years. Fire-Rescue International offers the best in leadership for fire company officers and chief officers looking to excel in their current positions and preparing for future career advancement. The event offers numerous ways for attendees and vendors to engage and network. Attendees can participate in focus groups, sponsored programming and the FRI Expo.

9/21 – 9/23, Greenville, SC

The Fire Industry Education Resource Organization (F.I.E.R.O.) is the fire and safety professional’s gateway to learning from fire service personnel about firefighter PPE and fire station design. Held annually since 2000, this event is called the F.I.E.R.O. Station Design Symposium and is considered the premier forum to learn from professional architects and fire service personnel all aspects of fire station building preparation and execution.

10/13 – 10/17, Philadelphia, PA

Based in Germany, Interschutz USA brings European fire safety expertise to the states. Designed for firefighters and other EMS personnel, Interschutz attracts thousands of attendees to Germany every five years. In this, its first year, Interschutz USA promises to be an extremely comprehensive event, dedicated to firefighters and fire-based EMS personnel in North America.

11/4 – 11/7, Nashville, TN

The Hexagon Public Safety Users Group (HPSUG) Conference is a three-day educational conference designed to provide a wide range of safety industry professionals a forum to collaborate and share ideas. Attendees cite the conference’s plethora of useful information and opportunities to better understand the public safety field.
